Cleveland Guardians fans have had quite a week.
Not only did they earn an incredibly unlikely walk-off win against the Minnesota Twins (the AL Central leaders) on Wednesday thanks to a Josh Naylor two-run home run, but they did it again on Thursday afternoon.
Yes, that’s right, against the same opponent: this time, it was Andres Gimenez as the one who won the game for the Guards.
Cleveland got to the eighth inning losing by two, but scored a couple of times to tie the game at three.
Enter Gimenez.

With one runner on and one out, he belted a Tyler Thornburg high fastball to center field, clearing the fence and notching a 5-3 victory for the Guardians.
Few teams in MLB have as many walk-off wins as Cleveland.
Cleveland Loves The Thrill Of A Walk-Off Home Run
We are guessing they just like thrilling comebacks.
The team, with the win, is now 39-34, just one game behind the Twins for first place in the AL Central.
Not many specialists and analyst had the Guardians as candidates to win the division this year: the Chicago White Sox were widely viewed as the favorites.
It was a logical thinking, too: they had dominated the division in the last two years, and retained most of their core.
But the Guardians have been better, and they are now on the verge or regaining the top spot.
The three teams will likely be fighting all season long for the division or, at least, a playoff spot.
Cleveland seems ready for whatever comes their way, though.
The team’s spirit is evidenced in these walk-off, comeback victories.
They are very tough to beat, and things are looking up considering their minor league talent.
