The Cleveland Guardians are one of the hottest teams in baseball.
They have won 13 games and lost only six, and that’s good for the best record in the league as of Friday afternoon.
Stephen Vogt, a first-year manager, is leading them to the top spot of the AL Central as of now, but the players and the front office have all done a fantastic job.
MLB analyst and former player Mark DeRosa is giving Vogt his praise, via MLB Network.
He recognized that the Guardians have been doing this for a while and suggested Vogt is starting to build a Manager of the Year case and that he is starting a new campaign: “Vote for Vogt.”
“He’s endeared himself to every clubhouse he ever walked in,” he said about the Guardians skipper, recognizing his skills as the hilarious man in the clubhouse but also the father figure.

DeRosa went a step further, noting Vogt’s hypothetical cabinet in his campaign.
Vogt’s “Secretary of Treasury” will be Jose Ramirez, who signed a seven-year, $141 million deal a couple of seasons ago.
The “Secretary of Defense” will be none other than Andres Gimenez, a Gold Glove-winner at second base and a true magician in the fielding department.
Steven Kwan, the spark-plug of the Guardians lineup, will be the “Secretary of Energy,” and Josh Naylor is the “Director of Homeland Security.”
Last but not least, the “Secretaries of Education” will be two incredible contributors to the Guards’ 2024 success: Hunter Gaddis and Emmanuel Clase, plus some of their relief pitching teammates.
It’s a solid group, isn’t it?
