For some, baseball is just a game.
They play for fun, and people pay to watch and enjoy the show.
However, the reality indicates that it’s much more than a simple game for the majority of fans.
They live their childhood dreams through the players and enjoy the game they love by watching them perform.
Baseball often takes us back to wonderful moments of our past.
It can also represent a great pastime for the present and even the hope for the future: there is nothing like dreaming of watching your team win the World Series.
The Cleveland Guardians, and especially first baseman Josh Naylor, know that fans deserve their attention.
That’s why the team and the player arranged a special meeting this week.
“We’re not crying, it’s just the cold. Josh Naylor surprised a long-time Guardians fan, Carolyn, with flowers and a visit at today’s pregame batting practice. Carolyn is currently in hospice care and was able to attend today’s game to watch her favorite team and favorite player,” the Guards tweeted.

Carolyn represents all fans and the feelings we described.
She has enjoyed baseball for a long time, and clearly her family is important to her and vice versa.
They were present in the beautiful encounter, and witnessed how Carolyn met Naylor, who was a complete gentleman to her.
She probably returned home with a smile on her face, knowing that she got to meet one of the best players in MLB and a representative of Cleveland baseball.
It was a truly wholesome encounter.
It’s always nice to see players interacting with fans, especially when they are as special as Carolyn.
