The Cleveland Guardians have one of the most underrated players in the game.
Outfielder Steven Kwan continues to establish himself as a force, and he keeps on piling up milestones.
That was the case again in a 4-2 loss to the Seattle Mariners.
Despite the setback, it was a big day for Kwan, who hit his 100th career double.

The Guardians haven’t been as competitive as they would’ve wanted this season, or at least not as consistently as they hoped.
They’ve been up and down for most of the year, alternating winning and losing streaks and getting red hot at the plate as quickly as they can get ice cold.
Even Kwan has had his fair share of struggles, which isn’t expected from a player of his caliber.
Perhaps his contract extension talks got into his head at some point.
He was also entangled in trade rumors before the deadline, but fortunately for the fans and the team, they chose to hold on to him.
That doesn’t mean he’s in the clear, though.
The Guardians have a long history of trading their star players before they get too expensive, and while they could keep him on a team-friendly contract for two more seasons, he wants an extension now, and these milestones may only make him more expensive.
