The Cleveland Guardians have plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Their best player is turning 33 years old.
It’s Jose Ramirez’s birthday, and it didn’t take long before fans flooded social media with their best wishes.

The third baseman has climbed the franchise ladder in multiple categories, and there’s a strong chance that he will finish as the all-time leader in several stats.
This season, he became one of just 25 players in MLB history to have at least 250 home runs and 250 stolen bases in his career.
A seven-time All-Star with five top-five finishes in the AL MVP race, he is one of the best players in the game.
Not many players get better after they reach a certain age, yet Ramirez continues to add layers to his game.
There will be a time when he will no longer have that quick first step and explosiveness to keep stealing bases, yet he’ll find a way to contribute, even in the few moments when he’s not at his best.
He may not have a lot of time to celebrate his big day, as the Guardians will take the field to face the Detroit Tigers in a game with significant postseason implications.
Given his work ethic and leadership, that is likely the only thing on his mind.
