The Cleveland Guardians need as much help as they can get to get through the finish line.
It will take a collective effort to make sure this team gets to the playoffs.
That’s why even the unsung heroes have to get their flowers when they get the job done.
With that in mind, Guardians Prospective took to social media to tip their hats to RHP Matt Festa, who has been on a roll over his last 14 appearances.

During that span, he’s tossed 10.1 innings.
He has allowed just six hits, and while he’s given up two runs, neither of those runs was earned.
He’s handed out two walks, and he owns a 0.00 ERA during that span.
Festa is the type of reliable, everyday bullpen guy all teams need.
Granted, he’s not spectacular, and he’s not going to make the headlines very often, but that’s precisely the type of reliever every team needs.
Whenever a reliever is making the rounds constantly, chances are that he’s not doing his job.
The Guardians’ pitching corps has been one of the best in the game for the past couple of weeks now.
They’ve allowed a grand total of 15 earned runs in their past 10 outings, logging an impressive 1.50 ERA.
Festa has been a steady contributor since he arrived in Progressive Field this season.
Now, with the most crucial stretch of the season looming, Stephen Vogt and company will continue to trust him to take care of business and hold down the fort before Hunter Gaddis and Cade Smith close out the deal.
