Cleveland Guardians ace Shane Bieber, who is working his way back from Tommy John surgery, recently made it through a rehab start with no reported issues.
He took the ball in the Arizona Complex League and tossed two scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
Now, the Guardians have announced plans for his next rehab outing.
“Shane Bieber’s rehab start [on Tuesday] will be with High-A Lake County. He’s set to throw three innings and around 40-45 pitches,” Tim Stebbins of MLB.com wrote on X.

Bieber tried to ramp up in June but had to pause due to elbow soreness.
An MRI ruled out ligament damage, and it was determined that the soreness wasn’t unusual.
He is now back on track and appears ready to gradually increase his pitch count.
He is probably going to need one or two starts after this one, so Guardians fans will have to be patient.
In the meantime, the current players are trying to make a statement and show the front office that they can indeed compete for an AL Wild Card.
Approaching trade deadline day with a competitive record will be crucial for Cleveland to go for it instead of selling.
The Detroit Tigers seem too difficult to overcome in the AL Central, while the Wild Card race is more than manageable with so much time to go until the end of the regular season, as long as the Guardians make some win-now moves to shore up the offense.
With Bieber, they could have a bona fide ace for the stretch run if he returns to his best form.
