The Cleveland Guardians’ season might be over, but this is still a year-round job.
If anything, the front office and scouting department will be busier now than ever.
With that in mind, the fans might be thrilled to know that the team has set its sights on yet another intriguing prospect.
According to a report by Guardians Prospective on X, the Guardians are currently leading the race to sign RHP prospect Jesus Rojas out of Falcon, Venezuela.

The young hurler is training at the Pitchers Development Academy with Luis Carlos Paz.
And just like his fellow compatriots on the Guardians’ radar, he won’t be eligible to sign with the team until the 1/15/26 International signing day.
The Guardians’ farm system is the gift that just keeps on giving.
Their pitching development staff is among the best in the game, and it showed this season.
The Guardians didn’t have much firepower at the plate, so everybody who took the mound was under plenty of pressure to take care of business, day in and day out.
That was the case more often than not, and it was the main reason why this team was able to beat the odds and not only make the playoffs but also run away with the AL Central Division.
Hopefully, Rojas will also be a part of that group at some point in the future.
And while he still has to clear countless hurdles to make his way to the majors, he’s already taking the first steps.
