The Cleveland Guardians have been busy making roster moves on Saturday.
For starters, they announced the activation of utilityman David Fry from the 60-day injured list, sending Lane Thomas to the injured list and designating Cody Bolton for assignment.
Additionally, they had to announce another roster move after losing right-handed reliever Andrew Walters on Friday.
The team revealed his injury, sent him to the IL, and announced his replacement: multi-inning reliever Nic Enright.
“Andrew Walters has been placed on the 15-day IL with a right lat strain. Nic Enright recalled from Columbus,” Guardians insider Tim Stebbins posted on X.

Walters had to leave Friday’s game in the ninth inning after complaining of pain behind his shoulder.
It was clear that he was dealing with a significant injury.
Now, we know what he is dealing with: a lat strain.
While it’s a better outcome than, say, a torn capsule or a rotator cuff injury, a lat strain is nothing to sneeze at.
It usually implies a multi-week absence that can stretch into months.
Just to name a recent example, New York Yankees starter and reigning AL Rookie of the Year Luis Gil suffered one in spring training and is still a couple of weeks away from returning.
There is a non-zero chance Walters has thrown his last pitch of the 2025 season, although it’s not set in stone.
Enright, on the other hand, will get a nice chance to stick around for a long time if he performs well.
The righty pitched three innings in the last week, against the Detroit Tigers and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He has a 9.00 ERA and four strikeouts.
He could offer solutions for a talented but battered pitching staff.
