Getting Steven Kwan back from injury has been a blessing for Cleveland Guardians fans after the star outfielder missed roughly a month due to a hamstring injury, and Kwan has picked up right where he left off since returning with a 7-game hitting streak.
Kwan went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and a walk in last night’s 5-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds and prompted the Guardians fans to bellow out an important chant after the game.
Bally Sports Cleveland shared a clip from last night’s postgame on-field interview where Kwan was loudly interrupted by Guardians fans chanting “All-Star” as he tried to answer questions.
You heard ‘em, Cleveland!

Kwan certainly has the numbers to make the All-Star team, and the only question is whether or not him missing a month of playing time will cost him the necessary votes.
Kwan is hitting an astounding .380 with a .446 on-base percentage and .984 .OPS.
The batting average and on-base percentage would lead the league if he had the at-bats to qualify, while his .OPS would be fourth behind Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Marcell Ozuna.
Kwan still likely earns a bid, as this hasn’t been the best year for American League outfielders outside of Judge, Soto, and Kyle Tucker of the Houston Astros.
It will be hard to make a case for many other players over Kwan at this rate, as the previous three players and Brent Rooker of the Oakland A’s are the only four full-time outfielders with an .OPS over .800 in the AL.
