When ranking MLB sluggers, there are few more notable indicators of excellence than the slash line.
And having a batting average of at least .300, an on-base percentage of .400 or more, and a slugging percentage of .500 or greater is a clear sign that the player is putting on an elite performance.
With this in mind, Cleveland Guardians do-everything star David Fry currently carries a .333 batting average, an OBP of .467, and a slugging percentage of .598.
Per StatMuse MLB, Fry is one of only six MLB players with .300/.400/.500 splits this season with a minimum of 100 plate appearances.
The other five are Mookie Betts, Juan Soto, Steven Kwan, Rob Refsnyder, and Heliot Ramos.

Respectable company, to say the least.
And it’s not just raw numbers that have many believing Fry deserves a spot on the AL All-Star squad.
There are many instances in 2024 where he contributed the big hit to propel his team to victory, a sure sign of a maturing player who did not even make his MLB debut until age 27.
Many around the game were likely unaware of Fry’s athletic gifts until this season, but his work ethic and willingness to contribute anywhere needed earned him his current lofty status in Cleveland.
Fry has logged time this year at catcher, DH, first base, and third base.
His teammates respond to his energy, especially in critical moments that separate the good from the great.
The Guardians are scoring at a much higher clip in 2024, and their emerging star is one of the main reasons for their surge.
