Many young baseball fans, especially in America, are drawn into the trading cards hobby since they are little kids.
It’s a wonderful way to fall in love with the game of baseball.
There is nothing like the thrill of opening those packs and seeing which player you got that specific day, then trading the collectibles with friends and fellow fans.
Even some professional players enjoy this activity, like Cleveland Guardians left-handed Ryan Webb.
Guardians Prospective uploaded a cool video of Webb pulling his own card and even the vendor got really, really excited.
“Cool video of Cleveland #Guardians 25yr old LHP prospect Ryan Webb pulling his card for the first time,” he posted on X.

You can see genuine happiness being spread and shared in the short clip.
For a player who grew up acquiring collectibles, seeing his name and his photo in one of them has to be a dream come true.
Webb couldn’t stop smiling, and there is a good chance it won’t be his last trading card since he could be up in the majors as soon as this year.
The 25-year-old lefty pitched 141.1 solid innings in the minor leagues last year, between Double-A Akron and Triple-A Columbus.
He had a solid 2.80 ERA between the two levels and could be positioned for a call-up or, maybe, to make the team out of camp.
That would be unlikely, but definitely not impossible.
Webb was up for grabs in the Rule 5 Draft that took place last month.
No team took a chance on him, and they might live to regret it.
