By now, it’s pretty obvious what Cleveland Guardians star Josh Naylor is capable of, not just at the plate, but also in the dugout after he comes up clutch.
Naylor is one of those guys who gets fired up to the point where it’s actually hilarious.
After a clutch home run in Chicago earlier this year, he went insane and threw his helmet down into the tunnel.
After a walk-off shot against the Minnesota Twins, he headbutted manager Terry Francona.
Luckily, Francona came prepared and had a helmet on before Naylor’s move.
Jayson Stark had Francona on his podcast “Starkville” to recap Naylor’s hilarious celebration.
Francona talked about the incident in Chicago and detailed his plan for Naylor’s headbutt celebration.
Francona also revealed a funny thing about the incident, that first of all, Naylor didn’t even remember doing it, and secondly, his mother called him and told him to check on his manager after.
"He just went bananas"

Going Bananas
This is hilarious because Naylor clearly just blacked out and went into a trance with his celebration.
He was having so much fun that he forgot it even happened.
It’s a good thing Francona came prepared.
In fact, he had just put the helmet on for fun.
Francona also praised Naylor for “going bonkers” during each celebration.
From what Francona’s saying, it seems like Naylor is somebody you definitely want on your team, not just because he adds a little extra fire, but because his celebrations are unruly and absolutely hilarious.
Francona was also glad that Naylor didn’t remember it, citing that some guys feel like they can “hit the manager and get a free shot.”
