For a day, at least, Tanner Bibee didn’t have his best stuff or command against one of the weakest offenses in the league.
It can happen from time to time: even the best pitchers out there are bound to struggle eventually.
In 4.1 frames, Bibee conceded six hits and walked three batters, which translated to a lot of traffic on the basepaths and five runs to his name.
The awful outing took his ERA to an uncharacteristically high 5.93.
However, Cleveland is a legit team in every sense of the word.
When the star isn’t playing well, there will be others to bail him out.
In this case, it was the Naylor brothers, Josh and Bo, who carried the team on their backs and delivered the winning runs with their bats.
Bibee had a hilarious way to praise them, by congratulating their parents for making great kids.
“Mr. and Mrs. Naylor made some good kids,” Bibee said, via Bally Sports Cleveland.
"Mr. and Mrs. Naylor made some good kids." 😂😂
Tanner Bibee had maybe the best quote of the night as the Guardians rallied from a 5-0 deficit to beat the White Sox in extra innings.

They did make good kids.
And they are all baseball kids.
Both sluggers went 2-for-4 in the game, with Josh delivering a double and a home run plus two RBI, and Bo driving in three with a single (the one that won the game in the tenth inning) and another dinger.
It was a great game for the pair of siblings, and Bibee sure had a creative way to acknowledge it.
