National Siblings Day is celebrated in the United States on April 10.
Josh and Bo Naylor made sure to get their own celebration going at Progressive Field on the holiday, doing everything in their power to secure a “W” for the Guardians against the Chicago White Sox.
The Guards found themselves down in the score by one run in the bottom of the tenth, but Cleveland’s favorite brothers came to the rescue.
Josh roped a double to drive in Andres Gimenez with the tying run, and Bo had a game-winning single to shallow center to score Tyler Freeman.
It was an exciting day of baseball, and a good one for the Naylor brothers to match a historic feat.
“Bo + Josh Naylor’s 10th-inning heroics are the 3rd time one brother had a game-tying RBI & another had the game-winning RBI, both in the 9th inning or later, Expansion Era (1961), joining: 4/6/2013 Uptons (B.J. tying HR, Justin walk-off HR in 9th), 9/7/1988 Ripkens (Billy tying single, Cal walk-off groundout in 9th),” Sarah Langs, a baseball stats expert, tweeted.

While Josh has been sizzling to start the year, Bo has been a bit cold right out of the gate.
The Guards are hoping this game can kickstart his season.
When all was said and done, Josh ended his day by going 2-for-4 with the double, a home run, and two RBI.
Bo also homered earlier in the game, and went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBI.
Cleveland took its record to 9-3, and lead the AL Central by one game ahead of the 8-4 Kansas City Royals.
