The Cleveland Guardians have rallied together to get to this point.
Once again, the whole has been greater than the sum of its parts, and everybody has played a crucial role in getting this team through the finish line.
Nevertheless, we’ve all seen how much of a difference one player can make at this point in the season.
That’s why they desperately need Steven Kwan to get out of his slump.
As pointed out by Guardians Prospective on X, the superstar outfielder has been far from his best in the past four games:
Kwan last four games (1-15) .067 AVG with 0 walks.
Usually how he goes the offense goes….

Of course, anybody can go through a bit of a slump.
It wouldn’t be the first time that has happened to him this season.
That’s not to say that it won’t matter or that it shouldn’t be a major reason for concern, but still, it’s something to keep a close eye on.
Kwan is the second-best player on the team behind only Jose Ramirez.
He’s reportedly still trying to secure a very lucrative contract extension with the Guardians, so taking his game up a notch in the playoffs will certainly help his case.
Conversely, he could be costing himself a lot of money if he doesn’t get his act together now.
Still, Kwan is just too good not to bounce back from this.
It should be just a matter of time before we see him bounce back.
Hopefully, it will all start as early as Sunday in the final game of the regular season.
