This week, they offered one prediction for every team with the upcoming 2025 campaign in mind.
For the Cleveland Guardians, they are banking on team star Jose Ramirez finishing off what he started last year: becoming a 40-40 player.

In 2024, Ramirez had one of his finest seasons as an MLB player at 32 years old.
He came up just one homer short of a 40-40 campaign, finishing the season with 39 home runs and 41 stolen bases.
He also had a .872 OPS, 114 runs, and 118 RBI.
He also had 39 doubles and cemented his place as an extra-base hit machine.
You might think that, given how close he was to that goal last year, it’s an easy prediction.
Consider, however, that only six players in the history of the game are proud members of the 40-40 club: Jose Canseco, Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, Alfonso Soriano, Ronald Acuna Jr. and Shohei Ohtani.
What MLB Network is predicting, and what Ramirez would hypothetically achieve would be nothing short of amazing, especially considering his age.
He shouldn’t be doing the things he is currently doing on the field: 32-year-olds aren’t supposed to steal 40 bases in a season, yet he swiped 41 last year.
Additionally, a player of his frame isn’t supposed to be flirting with 40 long balls, yet here we are.
Ramirez is a special player, one of the most underrated starts in our game today.
The odds will be against him to fulfill that prediction, but he will sure give it a try.
