The Cleveland Guardians have shown they like to get involved with the community, especially with young kids who like baseball.
It’s hard to imagine a better surprise for kids who play baseball in the area than hanging out with some of the Guardians’ players.
The Guardians gifted that to the young players, and not only that: they sent some star coaches to the Junior RBI team.
“Today the #Guardians surprised the Junior RBI team at their game today with some special base coaches—Myles Straw coaching third and Josh Naylor coaching first. Naylor got his kid to steal second and was loving the hustle,” Cleveland sports reporter Camryn Justice tweeted, with a video of the cool moment.

Of course, we wouldn’t expect less from Naylor, a passionate player who has let his feelings out on more than one occasion after a thrilling baseball play.
Naylor And Straw Are Important Pieces In The Guardians’ 2022 Puzzle
We don’t know if Straw or Naylor have any future as MLB coaches one day, but they fulfilled the role admirably for a day.
They had fun, and the kids loved it, too.
They are, for the moment, big parts of the Guardians’ 2022 plans and beyond.
Straw is a speedy outfielder who steals a lot of bases and plays good defense in the outfield.
Naylor, on the other hand, is the slugger who is breaking out this year with 12 home runs and a .500 slugging percentage so far.
You could say that the Guardians sent Thunder and Lightning to help the Junior RBI team.
Everybody had a good time during the game, which is the most important part when there is baseball involved.
