The Cleveland Guardians may or may not make the playoffs this season, but there are still plenty of reasons to keep an eye on this team.
For starters, Jose Ramirez continues to make history almost every single time he sets foot at the plate.
He’s piled up numbers at a drastic rate, up to the point where he’s climbed the ladder in several all-time categories in the organization.
That’s why Underdog MLB took to X to point out just how incredible he’s been for this franchise.
As things stand now, Ramirez is second all-time in home runs, extra-base hits, RBI (tied), and stolen bases.
He’s also third in runs.

Of course, winning a ring in Cleveland would only make his legacy even greater, but even if he fails to do so, he should go down as one of the most dominant and respected players in team history.
Ramirez will look to close out this season on a high note by carrying the team into the playoffs again.
It will obviously be way easier said than done, especially considering there’s no margin for error and the clock is ticking.
But any team will always stand a chance to win any game when a player like Jose Ramirez is there, so no one can sleep on the Guardians right now.
