The youth movement is on for the Cleveland Guardians.
With young stars such as Steven Kwan, Andres Gimenez, Josh Naylor, Emmanuel Clase, Oscar Gonzalez, and Triston McKenzie, the Guardians just so happen to have the youngest team in all of baseball.
And that youth movement has propelled them to the top of the American League Central division.
They also are younger than any Triple-A team.
On Twitter, the Guardians made sure that everybody in baseball knew that the youth movement was on in Cleveland, tweeting a graphic of their young stars and putting a little piece in the caption about how they are not only the youngest team in baseball, but also at the top of the AL Central.
We are not only the youngest team in Major League Baseball this year. We are the youngest team in both Major League Baseball AND Triple-A.
That's right. Our roster is younger than every Major League and Triple-A roster.
We are also tied for the division lead.#ForTheLand pic.twitter.com/krW1ZRH6xM

Let The Kids Play
That’s one way to celebrate all of your young stars.
The Guardians were a team that wasn’t expected to do much this season, yet here they are with the youngest team in baseball, leading the AL Central.
It’s always nice for a team to be young and loose, yet still manage to win important ballgames and beat up on division rivals.
The Guardians missed the postseason a year ago, finishing 80-82, but with their young studs making key contributions on the major league roster, this team could end up being a team that goes for it at the trade deadline, making key moves to acquire veterans and surround their young stars with some experience.
But it is time to let the kids play.
They are the future of the game of baseball and are ushering in a new era for the sport.
The kids are playing in Cleveland right now, and they’re getting the job done.
