The Cleveland Guardians have plenty of promising players in their farm system.
Among them, an outfielder has turned plenty of heads in the past couple of weeks.
Khalil Watson went from being an under-the-radar prospect to someone worth keeping an eye on.
He was recently promoted to Triple-A after some impressive outings in Double-A.
As shown by Guardians Prospective on X, he got his first hit in his first at-bat with Columbus.

Watson entered the season as the No. 28 prospect in the organization, according to MLB Pipeline.
He debuted at Akron last season but struck out 30.7 percent of the time.
He’s taken big steps this season, slashing .247/.337/.461 with a wRC+ of 134 in Double-A.
He also had eight home runs, 13 doubles and five triples.
Of course, he’s not a flawless prospect, and his strikeout rate continues to be a major concern, especially if you factor in a low walk rate.
Even so, the 22-year-old is trending in the right direction and improving all aspects of his game.
The Miami Marlins selected him at No. 16 overall in the 2021 MLB Draft before trading him to the Guardians for Josh Bell at the 2023 deadline.
Watson still has plenty of work to do, but if he continues this hot streak, the Guardians might keep him on their radar as one of the potential solutions to their outfield woes, maybe for the 2026 season.
