The Cleveland Guardians keep rolling.
They came out on top again to take their record to 5-1 in August.
As pointed out by Grant Puskar, the Guardians made history in that 4-1 win against the New York Mets.
They went from never winning a game at Citi Field to sweeping their NL foes.
It was the franchise’s second sweep in New York in the past 35 years.
Get your brooms out, Cleveland.
The #Guardians had never won at Citi Field before Mondays series opener. Fast forward to today – and they have won all three and swept the Mets.
It’s Cleveland’s second sweep in the city of New York in the past 35 years.

It also swept the New York Yankees in 2017, which was its first road sweep of them since 1989.
The Mets struggled to get anything going at the plate and ended up suffering their fifth series sweep of the season.
More than that, they were one hit away from being no-hit.
It came in the bottom of the ninth when Juan Soto hit a home run.
Gavin Williams had been dominant throughout the game, but unfortunately, he couldn’t finish it off.
The Guardians held the Mets scoreless for 14 consecutive innings during the series.
Before that solo homer, the Mets’ only baserunners came on four walks, with Brandon Nimmo drawing three of them.
David Fry got to Mets starter David Peterson with a solo homer in the top of the second inning.
Angel Martinez hit a two-run homer in the top of the third.
Gabriel Arias then hit an RBI triple in the sixth inning.
Now, the Guardians visit the Chicago White Sox for another three-game series.
