The Cleveland Guardians are going to host their Guards Fest on Saturday, January 20.
The event will give fans a chance to be close to some of the players on the 2024 roster, as well as some Guardians alumni.
Among the former players who will be present to interact with fans will be former outfielder Rajai Davis.
“Some familiar faces are making an appearance on January 20th! Will we see you, too?” the team tweeted.

Former pitcher Dan Otero, who retired with a 3.39 ERA and pitched in Cleveland from 2016 to 2019, will also be there, as well as Chris Gimenez.
The star of the trio is Davis, without a doubt.
Not because he had a long, fruitful career as a Guardian – he actually played just two seasons in Cleveland, 2016 and 2018 – but because of that legendary two-out, eighth-inning two-run home run against Aroldis Chapman in Game 7 of the World Series that tied things and gave the Guardians some new life.
Davis did hit a career-high 12 home runs in that 2016 campaign, plus 43 stolen bases as a regular for the Guards.
That dinger could have been historic, but the Guards couldn’t build a lead and ended up losing the game and the series.
The Guards Fest will be held at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland and will include a myriad of activities “including player panels on the main stage, autographs, photo opportunities and interactive games for the whole family,” per the team.
Most of the current Guardians core will be present: Jose Ramirez, Andres Gimenez, Will Brennan, Steven Kwan, Tanner Bibee, Logan Allen, the Naylor brothers, and many more.
