The Cleveland Guardians showed in the 2024 season that they were capable of competing for championships, and this offseason the front office is tasked with doing everything it can to give this team the slight boost it needs to get over the hump.
That doesn’t just involve free agent signings, trades, and ballpark renovations, but also uniform improvements which the team recently announced ahead of the 2025 season.
The Guardians shared a video on X of their “newly refined uniforms for 2025,” and the video shows off each of their home white uniforms, road grays, and alternate red and blue unis, all of which received a slight update that includes more detailed piping, the debut of the blue alternates, and a more modern look overall.
Look good, play good. ✨

The biggest change is the blue alternate jersey, which now features a large “C” logo on the front instead of saying “Cleveland” across the chest.
The red alternates will feature the club’s Bridge Print font that reads “Guardians” across the chest and blue/white piping that pops when contrasted with the red unis.
The changes to the home uniforms include the “Guardians” font on the chest being horizontal instead of slanted, updated red-blue-red piping, and red hats with a blue bill.
The gray road uniforms remain mostly the same.
The changes are minor but effective, and at first glance, these look like strong additions that give a nod to the team’s long and colorful history.
Cleveland has a pivotal offseason ahead of them, but it’s nice to see that the uniforms have gotten a nice little update alongside the improvements being made to Progressive Field.
