MLB, and the company in charge of designing the uniforms, have become famous for their City Connect uniforms.
These kits have distinctive elements that make them unique, and show patterns, designs, and styles related in some form with the city of the team in question.
The Cleveland Guardians revealed their City Connect uniforms on Sunday, and they are unique in many ways.
They are inspired by the Guardians of Traffic, the same sculptures that gave the organization its relatively new name a couple of years ago.
Of course, there are also elements that resemble the imposing 90s Guardians teams that made two World Series and electrified an entire city.
“The resiliency of a city, the pride of the ‘90s and the promise of a bright future. Merch drop 10AM, Guardians Team Store,” the Guardians tweeted, inviting fans to acquire the new threads.
They included a video in the tweet, showcasing numerous players like Jose Ramirez, Triston McKenzie, Emmanuel Clase, and others, introducing the uniforms.
Fans haven’t been shy about voicing their opinions about the new jerseys.

There is a notable excitement about the 2024 Guardians, even though they are coming off a brutal series loss against the Chicago White Sox in which they were able to avoid a sweep on Sunday.
We will likely see some City Connect uniforms at Progressive Field soon.
