The Cleveland Guardians’ offense in 2025 has been an abject disaster, and after a month full of shutouts and never-ending lifeless performances at the plate, the Guardians fell into a 10-game losing streak that has the season now circling the drain.
The offense has dragged the entire team down, though one veteran continues to rake with the best of them, earning himself plenty of praise from Cleveland sports legend Bruce Drennan in the process.
During a recent episode of Bonus Time with Bruce Drennan, Drennan raved about All-Star third baseman Jose Ramirez, who is putting up his customary dominant numbers even though everyone around him, except for Steven Kwan, can barely post a batting average higher than their weight.
Bruce can't stop emphasizing how much of an underrated SUPERSTAR Jose Ramirez is. #GuardsBall
"That gives the All-Star third basemen 24 on the season."

Ramirez will be skipping the upcoming All-Star game to rest a sprained ankle that he has been fighting through for the better part of two months, and considering he has seen his numbers take a dip lately, it’s the wise move for the stretch run.
He leads the team in just about every offensive category aside from hits and walks, and there is no telling where this offense would be without him having yet another incredible season.
There are no words to express how much he means to this team and this organization, and even if this season doesn’t turn around, the Guardians still need him for years to come to anchor a lineup that will, ideally, be filled with plenty of exciting prospects who are on their way up in the next year or two.
