Baseball is full of exciting players, those that fans are eager to watch either at the stadium or on TV.
With the season about to start, Deesha Thosar and Rowan Kavner put together one of the most interesting lists of the year: a player to watch from each team, via FOX Sports: MLB.
That, of course, includes the Cleveland Guardians.
This player is not always the best on the team, yet sometimes, there is another player who is not as good but has that something that captivates audiences: charm, speed, game-changing power, highlight-reel defense, or just a smile.
It can be anything.
Players such as Juan Soto, Jackson Holliday, Jarred Kelenic, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Julio Rodriguez, and Wyatt Langford were chosen.
The Guardians’ representative on the list?
None other than young catcher Bo Naylor.
Which players are you most excited to watch this year?

For a team that spent a few years without a catcher who could hit for relevant power, Naylor is a godsend.
His defense is still a work in progress, but he is far from a disaster and is always eager to learn.
There should be progress on that front this season.
Where he really makes his money is in the batter’s box.
He has a potent bat and could eventually provide 25-30 homer power in the middle of the Guardians lineup.
Last year, between Triple-A and the majors, he accumulated 24 long balls: 13 in Triple-A and 11 in MLB.
He also added seven stolen bases and above-average performance at both levels.
With a .809 OPS, he showed he can handle major league pitching.
Now that he will have a whole season to accumulate numbers, it could be a very solid year for the younger Naylor.
