One more night.
That’s what separates us from finally enjoying a full slate of meaningful baseball games: Opening Day is right around the corner, and it will have plenty of exciting matchups for fans to enjoy on Thursday.
The Cleveland Guardians, fresh off an impressive 2024 that saw them reach the American League Championship Series, had a solid offseason and enter the year as the favorites to win the AL Central crown again.
To do that, however, they will have to beat some solid teams such as the Detroit Tigers, the Minnesota Twins, and their Opening Day foes: the Kansas City Royals.
The team posted an exciting video from Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, where the magic will happen on Thursday starting at 4:10 pm ET.
“Tick, tock. ⏰ We’re less than 24 hours from the beginning of a new chapter,” the club’s official X account wrote, with a video of some of the star players taking grounders, making throws, and training ahead of the important game.

In less than 24 hours, Guardians fans will tune in and renew their hopes.
They will get to enjoy a thrilling pitching duel between two of the most underappreciated aces in the game: Tanner Bibee for the Guardians, and lefty Cole Ragans for the home club.
The Royals are one of the teams to beat if the Guardians want to make it two division titles in a row.
Everything is ready for a whole new chapter.
Everything the team achieved last year is greatly appreciated, but new goals and challenges await.
It’s time for the Guardians to make history.
