Now that football is officially over, it’s time for baseball.
Spring training camps will open this week all around the league, as Florida and Arizona will be filled with the hopes and dreams of hundreds of players and fans.
The Cleveland Guardians are, of course, no exception: they will officially open the doors of their camp in Goodyear, Arizona, to their players for mandatory workouts on Tuesday.
Truth be told, many Guardians have been training on their own to get ready for the season for weeks, even months now, and some of them have done it at the team’s complex.
That includes the star of the team.
“Baseball season! Cleveland #Guardians pitchers and catchers officially report to Goodyear on Tuesday. However a majority of the players have been trickling into camp for the past couple weeks now including perennial All-Star and MVP candidate Jose Ramirez,” Guardians Prospective posted on X.

When your MVP sets the tone like this for the rest of the squad, only good things can happen.
Watching J-Ram already training at the team’s facilities not only guarantees that your best player will be in top form to enter the season, but serves as an incentive for everyone else to join the workouts earlier than expected to gain that competitive advantage.
It might be a small detail, but this is exactly why Ramirez is such a positive leader and clubhouse presence.
Everything he does is for the sake of his team and his teammates.
He is not the only one: there are several Guardians who have been training in Goodyear for a while.
The entire roster is committed to going all the way.
