2025 Could Be A Big Year For Guardians Rookies

The Cleveland Guardians have to balance finances with competitiveness every year.

People have come to expect them to contend every year with severe payroll limitations.

This situation invites them to promote and use lots of rookies every year.

Since they are so good at spotting, developing and trusting their talent, this is mostly a good thing for Cleveland.

Guardians Prospective, who covers the team on a daily basis, has put together a list of 14 minor leaguers who could make their MLB debut with Cleveland in 2025.

There are some household names and some underrated prospects who could help, too.

Kayfus, OF George Valera (INJ),” he wrote on X.

I've compiled a list of 14 players who could make their MLB debut in 2025.

There are a few longshots in the list, like Espino (it’s likely that 2025 is all about getting his feet wet again in the minor leagues and built arm strength) and Bazzana, who is more of a 2026 play.

Seeing both of them in the majors this year is certainly not impossible, though.

Brito could be the Guardians’ starting second baseman come Opening Day, and Aleman and Enright could potentially win bullpen roles in spring training.

DeLauter is also expected to heavily influence the Guardians’ 2025 campaign.

Valera, when he is healthy enough to play, could also provide some relevant power for the Guards.

The team has depth and quality in the minor leagues, enough to keep the MLB squad fed with impactful talent.
