Baseball is a fantastic game; and more than that, a way of living.
Not only does it provide people with entertainment, but it can also mean a chance for those who play it the right way to earn better living opportunities for themselves and their families.
That’s exactly what happened to former Cleveland Guardians ace Danny Salazar.
The former pitcher, born in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), is now an American citizen after completing the required documentation and conditions.

He now enjoys most of the benefits that any person born in America has.
Salazar’s MLB career was short, but intense and successful.
He pitched for the Guardians from 2013 to 2019.
Injuries were rough on him, but he posted a solid 3.82 ERA in 591.2 innings.
He was an All-Star in 2016, the season in which Cleveland advanced all the way to the World Series and came very close to winning it all.
The last we heard about his baseball career was in 2022, and so far there aren’t any indications of a potential comeback.
He signed a minor league deal with the New York Yankees on May 13, 2022 but was released in late September.
Guardians fans remember him fondly, as he was part of one of the most successful eras in franchise history: the 2010s.
