The Cleveland Guardians are preparing for a pivotal season in 2024.
They went from going 92-70 in 2022 to a mediocre 76-86 mark last year.
Chances are the true talent on the roster is somewhere between the two campaigns, but the organization hopes it is much closer to their 2022 version and, why not, a bit better.
To be that good, however, the team needs to hit.
The folks at Guardians Prospective, who constantly provide Guards content of every type, posted the projected lineups for the upcoming season.
More than lineups, they are depth charts from Cleveland all the way down to the Arizona Complex League, the lowest level of the ladder.
An extremely early look at possible 2024 lineups across the entire Cleveland #Guardians organization down to the Arizona Complex League.

To be clear, they explained that they have first baseman Kyle Manzardo, who came over in the Aaron Civale trade, in Triple-A because he hasn’t been added to the 40-man roster.
They have the Naylor brothers, Bo and Josh, at catcher and first base, respectively.
Andres Gimenez (second base), Jose Ramirez (third base), and Steven Kwan (left field) are surefire starters.
They have Gabriel Arias, Tyler Freeman, and Brayan Rocchio (in that order) as the shortstop options, and they will likely battle it out in spring training.
They also list Estevan Florial and Myles Straw in center field and Will Brennan and Ramon Laureano in right.
Deyvison De Los Santos, a Rule 5 pick, will start at the DH spot at least initially, according to the projection.
David Fry as the utilityman and Austin Hedges as the backup catcher complete the group of position players.
