The Cleveland Guardians have some of the best players in the game.
That’s why it’s not a surprise to see that three of them are nominated for one of the biggest honors in Major League Baseball.
“Jose Ramirez, Gavin Williams and Cade Smith are all nominees for this year’s All-MLB team,” SleeperGuardians wrote on X.

While starter Williams and reliever Smith might have it tougher among pitchers, there’s no doubt Ramirez should get the nod at third base.
He’s never cared too much about individual awards. He simply wants to help his team compete at the highest level.
That’s why he recently put the Guardians on notice by letting everybody know that he isn’t pleased with the way the front office has operated.
Ramirez agreed to take a below-market contract so the Guardians could spend elsewhere to improve, and he doesn’t feel like they’ve held up their end of the deal.
A team never wants to risk infuriating its best player, especially one who could end up being recognized as the greatest in franchise history.
The Guardians have the potential to be a perennial contender in the American League.
Stephen Vogt has proven to be a very good manager, and they have young talent and stars to build around.
But unless the front office is willing to make the moves that need to be made, they will be on the outside looking in as a playoff team, but never a legitimate World Series contender.
