A new year is upon us, which means that soon, baseball season will get underway.
In the meantime, there are still plenty of things to be excited about.
We may not have baseball just yet, but it’ll be here before we know it.
And to celebrate the upcoming season, the Cleveland Guardians will be putting on a big event to kick off 2023.
On January 21, several key Guardians players will be coming together for the annual “Guards Fest.”
Among the players who will be in attendance are Triston McKenzie, Amed Rosario, Josh Naylor, Steven Kwan, Oscar Gonzalez, James Karinchak, and Myles Straw.

This is an exciting time of year.
Guards Fest will signal the dawn of a new season and another opportunity for the Guardians to show what they’re capable of in 2023.
The team won 92 games and took home their first American League Central title under the new name.
After making quick work of the Tampa Bay Rays in the Wild Card Series, they matched up against the New York Yankees in the ALDS and took the Bronx Bombers the full five games before being eliminated.
But their inspiring season has ignited hope within the fanbase and all over the city, and that hope and promise will be felt on January 21 when the players convene for Guards Fest.
The team’s new additions, catcher Mike Zunino and slugger Josh Bell, have also ignited a little hope within the city and the fans.
Guards Fest will kick off the 2023 season in style as the Guardians look to follow up their inspiring 2022 campaign.
