Rain, sleet, or snow, the Cleveland Guardians need their fans at Progressive Field.
That’s the message Stephen Vogt wanted to put out there.
Following another huge win, the Guardians’ manager had a simple yet blunt four-word message for all the fan base:
“Keep coming. Keep coming,” Vogt said, via Camryn Justice.
#Guardians Stephen Vogt to all the fans who brought the playoff energy to Progressive Field on a Tuesday night:
"Keep coming. Keep coming."

Vogt had already urged the fans to show up to the venue during their three-game series with the Detroit Tigers.
Even though it’s a school night, they need the stadium to be absolutely packed and roaring with screaming fans.
This series might determine the whole course of the season, and the Guardians need as much help as they can get.
There’s no small advantage.
With Tuesday night’s win, the Guardians have now taken down the Tigers for the top spot in the AL Central Division.
Vogt knows that the job is still far from done.
For starters, they need to keep their foot on the gas and take down the Tigers on Wednesday and Thursday to keep widening the gap between the two teams.
They have to take things one game at a time and not get too carried away and ahead of themselves.
That’s why having the fans there will be crucial in giving those games the playoff-caliber atmosphere they require.
