Cleveland Guardians superstar Jose Ramirez has done a lot of damage to a lot of teams over his 12 years in the league, and this season has been one of his best.
Few teams, if any, have experienced the wrath of Ramirez’s bat quite as often as the Detroit Tigers, and a recent stat showed just how well Ramirez has done against the Tigers throughout his career.
Bally Sports Cleveland shared a graphic that included some of Ramirez’s stats against Detroit, and it showed that over 146 career games against the division rival, Ramirez is hitting .303 with 29 homers and 114 RBIs as well as 37 doubles, and 104 runs scored.

Ramirez went 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and 3 walks against the Tigers in last night’s 9-8 victory in 10 innings.
He has 34 career homers against the Chicago White Sox and 31 against the Kansas City Royals, and his .954 OPS against the Tigers is his third-best against any AL team behind the Los Angeles Angels and New York Yankees.
Ramirez is on pace to set career highs with 41 home runs and 139 RBIs this season and is the driving force behind the Guardians having the best record in the American League so far.
Ramirez will be starting in next week’s All-Star game alongside teammate Steven Kwan, and Ramirez also recently announced that he’ll be participating in the Home Run Derby as well.
It will be J-Ram’s sixth All-Star game appearance and third time as a starter.
Aaron Judge is having a historic year, but Ramirez is pacing the AL’s best team and with a strong second half, he’ll be right in the mix for MVP.
