The Cleveland Guardians don’t need any help at 48-26 and in the midst of a four-game winning streak, but it doesn’t hurt to have a little added motivation from a four-time champion.
NBA Hall-of-Famer Shaquille O’Neal is a man of many talents, and the Guardians were blessed with his presence after last night’s 6-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays due to one of those talents being on display.
Unbeknownst to many, when Shaq isn’t on television laughing it up with Charles Barkley on Inside The NBA or selling printers and car insurance in random commercials, you might find him on tour as DJ Diesel, and the Guardians had the pleasure of celebrating their win with him as his tour hit Progressive Field after the win last night.
The #Guardians celebrate their win today on stage with Shaq, who hypes up the crowd by asking about the World Series.

Shaq could be seen in a video hyping up the crowd and promising to come back if the team makes it to the World Series.
Cleveland fans have been enjoying the ride so far, but a return to the World Series is in the back of everybody’s mind given how balanced this team is.
It’s too early and nobody wants to jinx it, but this team has all the pieces to make a run given the fact that the Guardians are fifth in the league in runs and sixth in ERA.
After all, few people know what a championship team looks like more than Shaq, who won three NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers and another one with the Miami Heat.
As if the team wasn’t motivated enough to get back to the Fall Classic, they have to do it now just to give the fans another taste of DJ Diesel.
