Nolan Jones had himself a night at Fenway Park as the Cleveland Guardians defeated the Boston Red Sox, 8-3.
It may have only been one hit, but Jones sure made it count as he blasted a three-run home run out to right field in the third inning to put the game out of reach early.
With that home run, he joined an elite list of Guardians players.
Jones now has 12 RBI through his first 15 games with the team, which ties him for fifth all-time and puts him in company with players such as Albert Belle and Carlos Santana.
StatsCentre tweeted the list of Guardians players with the most RBI through 15 games.

Jones Makes History
Jones is really providing a nice little spark for the Guardians this season.
In addition to his 12 RBI, he’s hitting .267 with an .844 OPS.
Last night’s home run was the second of his career.
To be in the same company as players such as Belle and Santana is impressive.
The Guardians’ win put them at two games above the .500 mark and got them to within 2.5 games of the Minnesota Twins for first place in the AL Central division and 2.5 games within the final AL Wild Card spot.
Jones’ blast ended up being the difference in the game.
The three-run shot made it 5-0 in the third inning and the Red Sox never got anywhere close.
Jones is just one of many bright young stars in the Guardians system and is ready to help lead the way for future Guardians stars.
The Guardians have a bright future with all of these young stars knocking on the door.
We’ll see if Jones can stay hot and continue providing a spark.
