Jose Ramirez continues to prove that his impact in Cleveland goes far beyond the baseball field.
The Guardians superstar recently partnered with Franklin Sports to create a custom pair of CFX Pro batting gloves, and the release carries a much bigger purpose than just style. According to MLB.com, Ramirez worked directly with the company to design a limited edition pair that became available to the public this week. Even more meaningful, he plans to donate 75 pairs to kids participating in Cleveland’s RBI baseball and softball programs this year.
“Ramírez and Franklin Sports came together to customize a pair of CFX Pro batting gloves, which were made available to the public on Wednesday as a limited-edition release. Ramírez also will donate 75 pairs to kids within Cleveland’s RBI baseball and softball programs this year. The gloves’ design includes eye-popping colors such as a light blue, pink, orange and yellow. It’s the first pair tied to Ramírez that Franklin has taken to market,” Stebbins wrote.
The gloves feature bold and eye-catching colors, including light blue, pink, orange, and yellow. The vibrant design reflects Ramirez’s personality and energy, traits that have made him one of the most beloved athletes in the city. It also marks the first time Franklin has taken a pair tied directly to Ramirez to the retail market.
While fans will certainly be excited to get their hands on the limited edition release, the real story lies in Ramirez’s commitment to the community.
Cleveland’s RBI programs provide opportunities for young athletes to play baseball and softball while learning teamwork and discipline. By donating 75 pairs of his custom gloves, Ramirez is helping make the game more accessible and memorable for kids who look up to him.
On the field, Ramirez continues to perform at an elite level, recently earning recognition as the top third baseman in baseball. Off the field, he is setting an example of what it means to use that platform for good.
Jose Ramirez has built a legacy with his bat, his glove, and his leadership. Now he is adding generosity to that legacy, making sure the next generation of Cleveland players feels supported and inspired.
