This past weekend, the Cleveland Guardians introduced their City Connect uniforms.
Reviews have been mostly positive, as fans love the big white “CLE” letters in the front and the artwork resembling the Guardians of Traffic.
The blue color is powerful, and the texture is also unique.
All things considered, Guardians supporters like the new uniforms and are already acquiring them through the official merchandise store.
The team, on the other hand, is going to rock these unis for the first time on Friday, when they take on the Minnesota Twins at Progressive Field in a very important series.
Team star Josh Naylor was filmed wearing the uniform (and the cool hat, too) in a short message that the Guardians shared through their social media accounts.
“Can’t wait for you guys to see these on the field Friday night!” they tweeted, which is pretty much what the star slugger said himself.

The uniforms are deeply rooted in the aforementioned sculptures near Progressive Field, but in addition to that, have elements resembling the 90s Guardians teams that took the league by storm.
These Guardians are not as powerful as those mid-90s units, but are very balanced and their pitching has them in first place of the AL Central with a 1.5-game cushion over Minnesota.
They are 27-17, which is actually one of the best records in baseball.
Fans will have another reason to go to the stadium on Friday, to witness the reveal of the cool City Connect uniforms.
It will be a night to remember.
