Andrés Gimenez may have had a slightly down season offensively in 2023, but considering his speed, elite defense, recently signed contract and young age, he is still a young star.
Gimenez is represented by Rep 1 agency.
However, a bigger company acquired Rep 1 and will now be in charge of managing his career.

Rep 1 has been in the football and baseball business for years, representing players and helping them negotiate big contracts, achieve success with second careers and alternate projects, and more.
Now, Klutch Sports will be taking over operations.
Gimenez will be sharing the same agency as Cleveland hero LeBron James and Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts, among others.
Besides Gimenez and the players Passan mentioned in his tweet, Rep 1 managed the baseball careers of players such as Texas Rangers outfielder and World Series champion Leody Taveras, 2023 first-round draft picks Enrique Bradfield (Baltimore Orioles) and Jacob Gonzalez (Chicago White Sox), and other notable prospects.
Gimenez’s OPS slumped all the way down to .712 after checking in at .837 in his breakout 2022 season.
Despite this, he managed to hit 15 home runs, steal 30 bases, and win the Gold and Platinum Gloves for his defensive excellence.
He remains an integral part of the Guardians for 2024 and beyond.
