The Cleveland Guardians introduced their City Connect uniforms this past weekend.
Fans had, as always, divided opinions but the overall reception was very good.
They are inspired by the Guardians of Traffic sculptures and also have some colors, designs, and features resembling the 90s teams, one of the most formidable groups in franchise history.
Fans can already acquire their new uniforms through the team, but how about a bobblehead of the organization’s best player using it?
That seems like a unique opportunity, and these bobbleheads of team star Jose Ramirez will be available for the first 12,500 fans in attendance for Saturday’s game.
“The JRam bobblehead in the City Connects is honestly beautiful. First 12,500 fans on Saturday!” the Guardians tweeted.

That contest is already must-see, as the Guardians will host the Minnesota Twins.
The Twins are the Guards’ biggest foe when it comes to the division race.
Now, fans in Cleveland will have yet another incentive to go to Progressive Field in addition to the game and the opponent.
It’s always cool to have a little souvenir of the best player in recent franchise history.
Ramirez is not only supremely talented on the field, he is also a good role model for kids.
He plays the game with passion and heart, he has learned how to take advantage of his physical traits, and his baseball IQ is very, very high.
He is also trending up in 2024: after a somewhat discrete start, he is now hitting .242/.294/.455 with a .749 OPS.
He still has a long way to go to match his career .851 OPS, but the power (nine home runs) and speed (seven steals) numbers are already there.
