The Cleveland Guardians have seen enough.
One of their most promising prospects is finally heading to The Show.
According to a report by Guardians Prospective, they’re about to call up 24-year-old outfielder prospect George Valera.
Valera has turned plenty of heads at Triple-A Columbus this season, and with the roster about to be expanded to 28 players, Stephen Vogt and company are ready to give him a chance to showcase his skills in the best baseball tournament on earth.

Valera made the rounds a couple of weeks ago after hitting for the cycle.
The talent has always been there, but injuries threatened to derail his promising career.
The Guardians took him in the 2017 MLB Draft, and he was expected to be one of the faces of the organization for years to come.
Then, after multiple ailments, it looked like they were ready to give up on him.
Fortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The Guardians have found some much-needed help with their two prospects making their MLB debuts this season.
C.J. Kayfus has given them an offensive boost and has looked like he belongs, whereas Parker Messick has looked like an ace in the making in his first two starts.
There was a lot of hype surrounding Chase DeLauter and Travis Bazzana this season – and rightfully so – but injuries prevented them from getting the nod to play in the majors.
In the meantime, players like Kayfus and Valera have put themselves right back on the map, and it’ll be interesting to see how Valera fares now that he’ll finally be given a chance.
