The Cleveland Guardians have been up and down this season.
However, despite their struggles, they’ve always had two players to rely on.
Steven Kwan and Jose Ramirez have been solid and steady contributors, and as such, it’s no surprise to see them among the American League leaders in All-Star voting.
Gotta get our heroes to ATL, Cleveland! 🦸♂️

As shown by the team on X, Ramirez leads AL third basemen, and the margin isn’t close.
He has almost three times as many votes as Boston Red Sox star Alex Bregman, who is second.
Kwan, on the other hand, needs more help from the fans to get the starting outfield spot he deserves.
As things stand, he sits fourth, just behind Los Angeles Angels legend Mike Trout.
Kwan will have a tougher time catching up with Riley Greene of the Detroit Tigers and, above all, New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge, who’s leading by a sizable margin.
The Guardians haven’t been able to find the same success they found last season, and not many people believe they have what it takes to get back to the ALCS with their offensive struggles.
But that’s no reason to punish two of the best players in baseball.
Ramirez and Kwan are a lock to be All-Stars, but they deserve to be starters with the way they’ve put the Guardians on their shoulders.
There’s still time to vote, so maybe the fans will do right by them.
