The Cleveland Guardians are currently 15-12, in second place in the AL Central division behind the red-hot Detroit Tigers.
Cleveland has been a tad inconsistent but has done a good job staying competitive while reinforcements come.
No, we are not talking about potential trades, although those could also help strengthen depth and improve roster quality when the time is right.
We are talking about Guardians players currently injured who could potentially be important contributors when they return to the active roster.

Seeing all these names, one has to think that the Guardians will actually have a hard time choosing the best 26 men to be on the active roster every day.
Bieber alone will make the rotation so much stronger when he is back on the mound again, potentially in late May or early June.
Nick Enright (not included on the list), Aleman, Sabrowski, Walters, Stephan, and Cecconi could all form a dominant bullpen in their own right, while Fry, Thomas, and DeLauter are three potential above-average, starting-caliber position players.
Cleveland hasn’t had much luck with injuries this year, but it has helped the organization produce some unexpected contributors such as Gabriel Arias, Angel Martinez, Jakob Junis, and Joey Cantillo.
With every returning player in the upcoming weeks, manager Stephen Vogt will be presented with a problem.
It’s certainly a good problem, though.
