MLB Network has been gathering fans’ votes to try and determine the list of the best MLB players right now.
The network has revealed the results in the starting pitching department, with the top-ten players voted on by supporters of all teams.
A heads up: there are not members of the Cleveland Guardians in the group.
“Here is how you voted the best starting pitchers in the game! @MLBNow reveals their #Top10RightNow at 8pm ET on MLB Network,” MLB Network tweeted.

To be fair, all those pitchers are on a tier above the Guardians’ staff.
This doesn’t mean that Cleveland’s rotation is bad: to the contrary, it’s one of the best and deepest groups in the league.
However, its strength lies in depth rather than star power by a pitcher or two.
Of course, the Guardians staff also has a lot of potential: Tanner Bibee finished with a 2.98 ERA in his rookie season, and Gavin Williams and Logan Allen were also very impressive.
A healthy Triston McKenzie definitely has top-ten potential in the majors.
A couple of years ago, Shane Bieber belonged on that list, but he is not the same pitcher at this point due to injury concerns and decreased velocity.
In any case, even if the Guardians don’t have a true stud like Gerrit Cole, Spencer Strider, or Blake Snell, their pitching rotation is in great shape even if they end up trading Bieber.
