The Cleveland Guardians need a savior, and it might be right in front of their eyes.
Star prospect Chase DeLauter continues to dominate in Columbus, and he’s making a strong case to get the call-up to the Majors.
As shown by Guardians Prospective on X, DeLauter just extended his hitting streak to eight games, and he’s now reached base safely in each and every single one of the 20 games he’s played at Triple-A.
He’s gone 11-for-30 with seven runs, two doubles, two home runs, seven RBIs, five walks, and just three strikeouts with a .367 average and .444 OBP.
Cleveland #Guardians 23yr old OF prospect Chase DeLauter reached base 2x tonight (1-2 RBI BB) for Columbus extending his hitting streak to 8 games.
DeLauter has now reached base safely in all 20 games he's played with the Clippers.

The Guardians’ offense has been near the bottom third for most of the season, and they haven’t gotten much production from all outfielders not named Steven Kwan.
Experts always expected DeLauter to make his way to The Show this season, but constant injury woes delayed that opportunity.
Now, given how he’s dominated at Triple-A and how the team is struggling, they might have no choice but to make room for him on the roster.
Johnathan Rodriguez looks like the odd man out and the likeliest candidate to lose his spot with DeLauter and his strong lefty bat profile.
Granted, expecting an unproven rookie to be the team’s savior might be as naive as unrealistic, as all rookies go through some growing pains and a learning curve.
Then again, he has superstar potential, and while he might not be the savior per se, he could be a solid catalyst for an offense in desperate need of momentum.
