From the first inning until the seventh, the Cleveland Guardians scored in every inning on Monday at Progressive Field. They wrapped up their night with 19 hits in a 13-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins.
Cleveland’s much-criticized offense came through on Monday and belted a whopping seven home runs in the win. It was the most impressive display of power of the season for the Guardians.

Tanner Bibee contributed a quality start to score his fourth win of the season. He pitched six innings and allowed just two runs on six hits, walking one and fanning five.
With Travis Bazzana on base in the first inning, Brayan Rocchio hit a two-run homer to put Cleveland ahead 2-0. Rhys Hoskins then swatted his first long ball of the day to make things 3-0.
In the second, the Twins cut the Guardians’ lead to one thanks to an RBI triple by Brooks Lee and a sac fly by Alan Roden. That was all the damage that Bibee would allow all night, though.
Cleveland scored three more times in the bottom of the second. Petey Halpin hit a two-run shot, and then Bazzana went yard for the ninth time in 2026 to put the sixth run on the scoreboard for the home club.
Hoskins made things 7-2 with his second dinger of the game in the bottom of the third, and then Halpin also cleared the fence for the second time in the fourth frame.
Patrick Bailey brought Daniel Schneemann home with a single in the bottom of the fifth. An inning later, a Chase DeLauter single plated Steven Kwan, and the game was 10-2 at that point.
Against Colin Holderman, Trevor Larnach roped an RBI single for Minnesota’s third run in the seventh. However, Bailey opened the bottom of the frame with a long ball of his own, putting the game 11-3 for Cleveland. With two men on base, DeLauter hit his 19th double of the year and drove in Halpin and Kyle Manzardo with the Guardians’ 12th and 13th runs.
Victor Caratini hit an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth against Matt Festa to wrap up a busy scoring night.
Hoskins (2), Halpin (2), Rocchio, Bailey, and Bazzana all went yard in the extremely productive night to help the Guardians earn their 53rd win of the year. DeLauter and Bailey each racked up four hits.
The Guardians will take the field at 6:40 pm ET on Tuesday for the second game of the series.
