There has been frustration with the Cleveland Guardians this season due to their reluctance to call up offensive reinforcements from the minors, despite consistently floundering at the plate.
Several prospects have fans excited about the future, including one outfielder in Triple-A who had recently tied a career high.
Guardians Prospective posted a clip of Petey Halpin leading off with his 12th home run of the season.
Back-to-back games!

MLB.com has Halpin ranked as Cleveland’s 26th-best prospect, and he could be knocking on the door of the majors if he keeps up his recent production.
His power has steadily improved since Cleveland selected him in the third round of the 2020 MLB Draft.
He is also on pace to set a career-high in doubles after tying his home run mark in 94 games.
His latest homer was an impressive 415-foot rocket that didn’t look like it came from a player with 45-grade power on the 20-80 scale.
Given the disappointing production from Cleveland’s outfield this season, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Halpin or other outfield prospects get promoted in September or next season.
Even though the offense has left a lot to be desired, fans should be excited about the future because Halpin is one of many exciting prospects on the way sooner rather than later.
