The Cleveland Guardians need all hands on deck to close out the season.
That’s especially true in their current series against the Detroit Tigers.
The Guardians won the first game, and they will continue to play with a postseason approach.
With that in mind, they have chosen to shake up their rotation for the remaining two games.
According to Tim Stebbins of MLB.com, Cleveland will move up Gavin Williams and Tanner Bibee to get them on the mound.
Williams will start the second game, with Bibee following him in the finale.
Logan Allen will then take the mound in the upcoming series against the Minnesota Twins.
The Guardians are shuffling things around a bit in their six-man rotation. Gavin Williams and Tanner Bibee are being bumped up to face the Tigers.

The Guardians used a strong outing from Joey Cantillo to secure the first game.
Detroit tied it in the bottom of the ninth, but Cleveland scored four times in the top of the 10th before holding on for the victory.
The Guardians moved within 5.5 games of the AL Central leaders and have five games left against them.
They will look to make the most of this huge opportunity to close out the year on a high note.
There’s a real chance to not only make the playoffs as an AL Wild Card, but possibly as a division winner, and they will leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of any edge they can get.
